Alpha Centauri
I came across some news today, which perplexed me in
an Astro-way.
It seems our close companion star, has been re-named, for
reasons far
beyond my depth of understanding of how things work in stellar
branding.
Yes, Alpha Centauri is no more. Now Rigel Kentaurus has the
floor.
But Proxima Centauri still remains, in sky catalog and brains.
So make a note: address the same. He just has a brand new name.
Despite all this, I have no doubt, his welcome mat will not be
out.
