The
Milky Weigh
We have been warned, it's coming soon, out there
beyond the crescent moon.
A galaxy will then swing by, to dominate the
night-time sky.
Andromeda will mingle with our own, with results
that can't be known.
For we won't be around to see, what they predict,
eventually,
when two billion years from now, and gravity still
works, somehow -
Descendants will, if they abide, see big results
when worlds collide.
When fiery plumes of solar flares, will whisk away
our puny airs.
Keep all of your recorders handy. It's guaranteed to
be a dandy!
